Overview
Purpose
The Wedding Concierge’s primary function is to make sure the wedding party is completely taken care of. There is no task too small for the concierge to pamper to our wedding couple – whether that is serving mimosas, going to the store or steaming dresses. The concierge dotes on the wedding party from the moment they step on the property until they walk down the aisle.

Description: Part-time, 8-29 hours/week
Pay Rate: $15/hour
Concierges are eligible to participate in the Cornman Farms hourly tip pool along with porters, producers, grounds and administrative assistants.
Shifts will typically be Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., though other days/hours might be needed at times.
Our busy season is May-November. In other months, hours may be reduced.
Reports to: Managing Partner (also reports to any manager while on shift)
Essential Functions
Deliver the Zingerman’s experience to all guests, including consistently going the extra mile and following the 5 Steps to Handling a Customer Complaint
Act as hostess for bridal party on event days, welcoming upon arrival, gathering amenities as needed, assisting with loading/unloading personal items
Prepare and bake welcome treats like cookies or other baked items
Set up, serve and clean up after bridal party snacks, lunch and “getting ready” beverages like mimosas
Refresh beverage station – brewing coffee, restocking coffee drink supplies, emptying trash
Refresh bathrooms – emptying trash, restocking supplies
Clean front rooms and lounge throughout shift as needed
Greet walk-in guests for tours and event information and provides tours as needed
Answer the Cornman Farms telephone line and assist guests as needed
Make errand runs off-site as needed
Complete training within time frame and attend meetings as required
Assist with creating and implementing systems and processes
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Other Functions:
Answer the Cornman Farms telephone line and initially respond to general questions and wedding and corporate event inquiries
Direct calls to the proper people and/or communicate messages
Handle administrative tasks associated with event booking, including tours, customer communications, estimate creation, contract development, online invoicing, and deposit collection
Assemble sales packets and informational materials for tours
Document customer feedback
Assist with events coordination and setup/breakdown as needed
Serve as a host/server during special functions (Farm Dinners, scheduled tours, etc)
Back up the Event Production team
Provide support as needed by Managing Partners, Managers or Producers
Success Patterns:

Must have reliable transportation to/from work and to make errands

Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Must be 18 or older
Physical Demands
Able to ascend/descend between main, upstairs and basement level
Able to load/unload and transport up to 25lbs
