Meet the Couple
Fawn and Shawn matched on Tinder in 2016 while they were still in college. Following a whimsical first date including dinner and bowling, the couple knew it was love at first sight while they sat in the car talking until the early hours of the morning as snow fell around them. After an intimate engagement at sunset on a northern Michigan camping trip, Fawn and Shawn knew had their hearts set on the Tiny Wedding at Cornman Farms.
We thought we would have to be engaged for years before we could save enough to have a beautiful wedding where we did not sacrifice quality. We knew we didn't want the traditional banquet hall filled with people, so the decision to keep things to 10 people was easy for us. Our entire wedding process was just as we imagined--fun, beautiful, stress-free.

The Ceremony
Fawn and Shawn incorporated personalized elements into their ceremony, including a glass pour, which is a different approach to the traditional sand ceremony! They said “I do” in front of the seasonal Tiny Wedding ceremony installation of color block panels flanked by abundant foliage, forming a semi-circular altar for them to stand within.
The Celebration
Following the ceremony, the couple and their family celebrated with a toast and cut their vanilla Tiny Wedding cake, filled with raspberry buttercream. Afterwards, they followed their experienced wedding photographer on a photo session around our 27-acre property.
