BY CHEF KIERON HALES
Even for couples who fancy themselves the second coming of Ina Garten and Jeffery, choosing kitchen items for a wedding registry can be an intimidating experience. Beyond endless Googling, online forum sleuthing and asking those who have been through it before, how is one supposed to choose from the overwhelming selection of available cookware tools?
To help narrow down your search, I’ve curated a list of 10 registry essentials for every wedding couple that enjoys spending time in the kitchen. Click here to see the full list on our Amazon storefront.

1. Lodge Cast Iron Skillet
Cast iron skillets are kitchen staples that last for generations. These pans can be used in the oven, on the stove or on the grill and are perfect for everything from searing juicy steaks to baking giant, gooey chocolate chip cookies. Those who know me know I am a Lodge super-fan. Their cast-irons in particular come ready-to-use – all of the work that goes into seasoning a cast-iron skillet has already been done for you.
2. Le Creuset Dutch Oven
Another heirloom kitchen staple, a Le Creuset Dutch oven has all the benefits of a cast-iron skillet in the convenient shape of a traditional pot. These beautiful kitchen workhorses, which come in a wide variety of colors, are great for stews, soups, and even homemade bread.

3. Mac Professional Chef's Knife
This razor-sharp knife is perfect for dicing, slicing and chopping. This chef’s knife is an essential food prep tool that will quickly become your go-to. If there’s one piece of cutlery you choose to put on your registry, make it the Mac Knife Professional French Chef’s Knife.

4. Vitamix 5300 Blender
The multifaceted Vitamix 5300 Blender is strong enough to handle chopping, grinding and emulsifying. Whether you’re in the mood for a creamy fruit smoothie, a savory soup or a chunky salsa, this blender is second to none.

5. Collapsible Measuring Cups and Spoons
These measuring cups and spoons are made from BPA-free, food-grade silicone, which makes them long-lasting, durable and easy to clean. However, my favorite bit is that they’re collapsible, which means they’ll save you precious space in your kitchen drawers and feel extra organized.

6. Breville Smart Oven® Air
Instead of adding an air fryer, toaster oven and dehydrator onto your registry separately, choose the Smart Oven® Air that can perform all those tasks and more. This impressive countertop oven features 13 different cooking functions and is one of my favorite items in my home kitchen for making individual meals or small batches.

7. Anova Sous Vide
Those who know me know that this is likely my favorite kitchen tool to use out at the farm. Sous vide works by circulating heated water in a container at a very precise temperature. When you submerge your food (in a bag), it cooks the food at the exact temperature you select, meaning that you end up with a perfect level of doneness every time. If you like precision, this is the tool for you.

8. Imperia Pasta Maker Machine
The easy-to-use pasta Imperia Pasta Maker Machine hails straight from Italy! With this machine, you’ll be able to create authentic, fresh pasta right in your own kitchen. This is one of my favorite activities to do with my kids and get the whole family involved in the kitchen.

9. Duralex Glass Mixing Bowls
My favorite thing about these mixing bowls? They’re stackable! You get 9 sizes which can be easily stored away in your cupboard; I’ll often use the smaller bowls for mise en place and the larger bowls for mixing. Plus, these are dishwasher and microwave safe.

10. KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer
If you have any desire to bake, you’ll want to put a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer on your registry. Almost all of my baking recipes are made 10x easier if you have an electric mixer, and in my opinion, this is the best one you can get.
