Our Positions
The Event Lead, or manager on duty, is responsible for delivery of the Cornman Farms experience to all guests and vendors. This is a year round events-based position with many skill areas and opportunities to learn. This role requires patience, flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor at all times.
The Wedding Concierge’s primary function is to make sure the wedding party is completely taken care of. There is no task too small for the concierge to pamper to our wedding couple – whether that is serving mimosas, going to the store or steaming dresses. The concierge dotes on the wedding party from the moment they step on the property until they walk down the aisle.
The dishwasher washes all the pots, pans, plates, silverware, and glassware used during event days on the property while keeping the dish room tidy and clean.
The Event Staff (porters) are responsible for delivery of the Cornman Farms experience to all guests. This is a great opportunity for someone that is willing to do whatever needs to get done, and really enjoys working with people!
Working shifts each week as both administrative assistant and event producer, this individual will be responsible for creating an amazing experience by coordinating all the necessary details to create a truly memorable event! Along with event planning, this full time role will provide outstanding service to customers by answering questions, handling complaints and facilitating event bookings. This role requires great attention to detail, patience, flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor at all times.
The Event Coordinator (or producer, as we say internally) is responsible for creating an amazing experience by coordinating all the necessary details to create a truly memorable event! This is a year round, full time position with many skill areas and opportunities to learn. This role requires great attention to detail, patience, flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor at all times.
Kitchen assistants aka prep cooks are responsible for delivery of the Cornman Farms experience to all guests through cleaning, food prep and plating. This is a great opportunity for someone that is willing to do whatever needs to get done, and really enjoys working with food and people!
Zingerman’s Cornman Farms Supervisors (which we call Porter Coaches) guide our crew to greatness and push for perfection through continuous improvement, visual management and waste elimination to support staff for our amazing events!
This is a year round, full time position focusing on continually improving our systems and ensuring a consistent result. You will work alongside our event porters to ensure they have the tools they need to do their jobs and make it easier for them to always do the right thing.
Our Bartender/Servers are responsible for meeting and exceeding the expectations of all guests.
Bartenders are responsible for the setup and maintenance of bars and beverage stations and cleaning up and breaking down of bars and beverage stations at the end of events.
Servers provide food service for private dining and smaller events throughout the season. While serving, employees will be responsible for delivering great customer service, resolving complaints, setting up and clearing tables as well as related sidework. Experience carrying trays preferred.
This is a fast paced position that will involve constant customer interaction and requires the ability to carry large, heavy objects on a continuous basis throughout a shift.
The Bar Supervisor, or Lead Bartender, a year ‘round part time role, will oversee the work of servers and bartenders on shift and tend to some administrative duties, like organizing product and performing monthly inventory.
