The Best Places for Mischief on the Farm
We asked our staff and vendor partners to share the farm’s best spots for a little mischief. Their answers may surprise you — or inspire you.

There’s always something silly going on around the pond.

The upper porch is the place for this. Sometimes guests are down below and don’t even realize the couple or guests are up there.

The fire pit! Usually guests move out to the fire pit after a few drinks and share stories, but there are always a few that are being completely silly and making the rest of the group laugh.

A great spot for doing something silly or mischievous is right in front of the downstairs entrance to the barn. It’s a great spot for yard games and gathering and you can really have some fun in this space.

Well, after years of exploring every inch of the farm with my two boys, they’ve definitely found a few spots where they can mysteriously disappear for a little mischief. One of their favorites is the little sway down by the tall grasses just past the pond. It’s the perfect place for building stick forts, and let’s be honest, I’m just as guilty as they are when it comes to getting lost in the fun.
Another hidden gem is just behind the woven willow garden. It’s a secret little spot that most people overlook, making it the perfect hideout for a bit of playful mischief. Whether it’s a game of hide-and-seek or just a quiet escape from the rest of the world, it’s become a favorite for my boys — and for the big kid in me, too.
